Another beautiful story about the brave and kind Mona Mouse. She's been searching for home and family throughout the series, and I guess in finding it, the series is over.In this book, similar to the others, we see difficult situations, like other animals they would normally be frightened of and a forest fire. Mona always steps up to the challenge, using her good heart as a guide instead of following her fears. She's a great example.I'm the mom, reading them to myself and recommending to my children. I've really loved these sweet books.
This is an adorable series! I read them before giving them to my 8 year old granddaughter and we both love them. Sadly there are only 4 books in the series. Artwork is sweet too!
This series is a wonderful one, and the final book does not disappoint. Kallie creates a forest world with memorable characters and the right amount of conflict that doesn't get too scary for young readers (I read these aloud with my five year old).
My 9 year old has read every book in the Heartwood Hotel series and really enjoys them.

This is such a sweet, sweet series. My daughter is an animal lover, so these are fun books to feed her growing interest in reading.
