I used this book for a long weekend trip to Moab. It served as a helpful guide for those who do not have much time to explore. It covers Moab, Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park and recreational areas just outside the parks. I used the book for general ideas and searched the Internet for more detail. If you want to see every part of the parks or are looking for in depth information about hikes off the beaten path, a different resource would serve you better. I was happy to have it and would recommend to those making a short a trip to the area.
