Good resource
Although I am an experienced gardener, I grew up in Florida and most of what I had learned about gardening did not apply to what I could grow in a northern climate. Ohio was a whole new world for me. After two years of lack luster gardens and disappointing crops, I broke down and read a book. Using what I learned in this book, my garden is exploding this year.
Bought this for two of my kids who love to garden is has a lot of helpful information . But , they dont call me up for help anymore cause most of their question are answered in the dern ol book
It gave me all the info I needed for where I live and the size of my garden which is not large.
I was looking for a basic reference to look for times for planting and such in my area and this fit the bill perfectly for me. There may be better books for more detail but this was clear and concise and I'm very happy with it.
