I would recommend a parent or guardian of a younger person to look through it before letting them have the book, as different people have different standards for the cleanliness of jokes that they allow. I got this for my husband's birthday and is about to graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering. He loves it and finds most of the jokes in it funny.

Jokes were funny. Most required familiarity with engineering, physics, computer science fields in order to get the punchline. Gave as a gift to my nephew and he and his wife and their teenage sons were laughing right away as he read a few out loud. Hope they enjoyed it together. He could even choose a few for work-related presentations. Clean. Intellectual. Wry. Witty. Funny.

Jokes are hit and miss, but overall a good gag gift for the engineer in your life. I like that it includes jokes for all types of engineers.

I expected much better jokes for an advanced subject. These jokes were so lame and not the least bit funny. Engineers would not be impressed with the simplicity of the humor.
