Practice sheets full of algebra equations to do since they NEVER give the kids enough practice in school or for homework anymore. My son needed this and doing a page at a time has helped.
Great practice pages. The intro to some of the chapters is lengthy, but the information provided is excellent. I'm using this book for tutoring, and I beleve it is working.
I liked that answers were given for the work sheets but the answer page should have followed each work page not at the end of the book.should have.I did not like the fact that none of the answers were discussed to show how the were obtained. Some should have to understand how to get there.
All of the problems have answers in the back of the book. This is essential. The explanations and examples are ideal for mastering Algebra. It is not something that you can just "pick up". It has to be practiced. This book is a great help.
Needed to pass an exam. This helped me brush up on the algebra part of the exam.
The book has a good explanation of how to work basic algebra problems and then gives several pages of example problems for students to work. As a tutor in algebra for GED students, I found the example problems very useful in give students problems to work in class and for homework.
My sons like the book they use it during the summer months to keep up with their math skills.
Easy to understand and follow. Good examples and a good refresher for someone who took Algebra in high school. Worth the money.
