Basically a pep talk about 3D printing being the next big thing and some basic ideas. Sure, it has soft software recommendations and links to resources, but you'll find that and more if you simply google it. Wish I had looked into the content a bit more before purchasing.Ultimately, I was suckered in by the title and didn't really learn much.
This book has great information to point the beginning entrepreneur in the right direction in the 3d printing world. It gave me enough info to try and currently take my own attempt at starting a 3d printing business. Anyone looking to try making money with their printer or even what printer to buy should take a look. While the content isn't necessarily going to guarantee your success, it is a valuable resource to have.
I got little from it as there is little original material. Reprinting 3D Executives remarks on the industry and an Index is over half of the 24 pages. This is not a BOOK!
If there's 1 person to learn from on becoming a 3D entrepreneur, it's definitely this guy. Wow! As a non-technical person with no maker background whatsoever, this is an extremely encouraging read and inspires me to get up and just invent something. Not a dense read, and opens your mind to so many possibilities - 3D printing is absolutely the future, and this book really helps to put the power in your hands.
Well written and easy to understand. Don't know if it would lead to creating a new business but it is a quick read.
It is not a book, it is a booklet. I do not consider the information offered as a relief, nothing that can not be read elsewhere.
Great overview of the world of 3D printing, from technical details like which programs to use based on your skill level and interests to which online marketplaces to sell your products on. This is a very helpful book for someone who wants a comprehensive look at home to become a 3D printing entrepreneur!
It's great, and straight to the point. Love the resource section as well that means I will keep referring back to the book.
