Why is this story so long? The author repeats the same trite expressions over and over. The descriptions are so wordy. This book could have been about half the size. And seriously, how many near misses do we have to read about. Every time they about to make it to safety, something else creeps up. Every. Single, Time. Get on with it! Tell the story. I really liked the first book in this series, but I feel like this entire series could have been nicely done in one book instead of three. It has been stretched into three for monetary, not literary reasons. I think the story line, overall, was creative and had potential. It was spoiled by excessive wordiness, rambling, and, long-winded descriptions. (See what I did there.) I won't read another series from Mr. Harrison.

Yes, a trilogy so detailed it took the author three novels to tell his story. The basic premise showed originality and much promise. The story of a wealthy young girl who can do amazing things. Her recluse Father the richest man on Earth and also a scientific genius who invents things that help mankind. But what is Finn/Infinity?They go on a school trip to her Father's manufacturing compound. There all Hell breaks loose as the computer system goes haywire and security protocols are invoked. The students are hunted by killer robots (just where have we seen that theme of late?).Most of books one, two, and three are about the student's fight to stay alive. And here is where it loses credibility. As robots hunt the invaders, wanton destruction happens as security robots shoot and destroy just about everything. That just doesn't make any sense. Why? Think about it, would security wreak havoc on the buildings and areas it's meant to protect? Nope, that destruction didn't make sense. And once I realised that, I kept praying for the book to end, and end fast. But it didn't. It dragged through battle after battle, until finally it reached a quick, and expected, conclusion.Did I guess the end? I was close - I figured out much of what was going on, but not all. And even in ending, some things didn't make sense.SPOILERS AHEADOkay, what happens with Nanny? First she's a killer entity without much emotion except for hate and one question gets her to change? Deus ex Machina! And Daddy recorded his brain once a week. But as soon as he's amongst the dearly departed, he knows what's been going on, even up to the minute he left? I'm not buying it. It's just another deus ex machina. And Daddy was already out in the world, right? So what happened to him? If Nanny and Mom are going to be around, then where's Daddykins?Well, these books were cheap, and you really do get what you pay for, really! As far as recommending them? Nope, nada, non, nein, etc. But if the author ever rewrites them, to condense the hours of battle to a few key fights, and expands the story to explain, really explain, Infinity, then I might recommend them. Until then, stay away. Sorry, but this is my opinion.

Oh my goodness! I literally could not put these books down.😁 I am glad I bought all 3 at the same time! I couldn't imagine having to wait for the next book to be published! Mr. Harrison you have become my 2nd favourite author. (Jason Tesar and The Awakened series is my all time fav) Read both The Infinty and The Awakened series of books! You will not be disappointed!!! Awesome authors.😊

This one was just okay. Don't get me wrong, it remains action-packed and is quick to read. The first book in the series got me hooked and is the reason I read the next two. But I don't really like a trilogy where the 3 books are just the same story (like within a day or two), which is what this ended up being. It also just gets a bit ridiculously unbelievable. I'm not sure at which point I got really annoyed with the death and destruction toll and the overly fantastical, but by mid-book 3, I was asking myself why I was reading. Because these books weren't all available for sequential reading, there was a time lag between each for me which was tough because these are not stand alone stories.

This felt rushed and put together. Some parts didn't make sense and other parts were so corny. And what's with the family intermingling? And when did Onix become human and why couldn't her father control everything since he was the all knowing. Idk...too rushed. Bless Mr. Harrison's heart. It's apparent he was rushed to put out a third installment or it wouldn't have been this whack. At least, that's what I want to believe. Since the first two books were good. Thank God it was free through kindle unlimited.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Well written, interesting characters with an intriguing story in a fascinating world. Some of this could easily become true which likely makes it scarier. I did feel that it seemed to get a little too neat and tidy in favour of our protagonists towards the end but I've felt that with a fair few books so it is likely just me.Oh and I'd like Infinitiy's abilities.Highly recommended.

I read all three of these books consecutively and thought it was a very good series. I found myself thinking about the books even when I was not reading and hoping to get back to them. This last book definitely got a little weird but it was still good. Some twists and turns although most of them were predictable. Definitely worth reading the trilogy and I will keep an eye out for more books by this author.

I read the entire series and came away with the realization that if Harrison had gone back to edit out all of the useless words, metaphors and over-used similes, there would have been less than a whole novel left over from all three books. I suspect there was a good story here, but Harrison's development of the tale of this teenage mutant, her battle for finding herself and taking control of a life thus far controlled by many others just had the sense of being developed on the fly. By the time I got to the end of the 3rd installment, I honestly found no relevance at all in the beginning of the story in the 1st installment. This series suffered a clear lack of a good editor, and by demanding so little of itself, demands far too much of the reader.
